Great no frills Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Very basic menu but every thing I had was tasty. The chicken sandwich was big but it had a nice bun which could handle it. As with all Nashville chicken sandwiches this is not low-calorie food. Delicious but greasy and may be habit-forming. The Mac and cheese was also solid, very creamy. This is the definition of small business that needs to be supported in Chicago. Chick filet has nothing on this place when comparing flavor or quality of chicken. Mom n pop, or in this case mom n mom shop.
Wow, just wow. Tucked away in a quiet strip mall is the most delicious Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich I've had in Illinois. I walked in for lunch, ordered an Original Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich Combo and a side of Mac and Cheese at the counter, and I sat myself at one of their many tables. The restaurant itself is very clean and full of natural lighting. Angry Egg prides itself on organic, hormone-free, cage-free chicken and you can truly taste that in their food. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was juicy and spiced perfectly. The combo came with a heaping portion of fries and a drink as well. The Mac and Cheese was creamy, cheesy, and probably my favorite mac and cheese outside of making it myself! After a satisfying meal, the owner cleans up the table for you and she even thanked me for dining in! Please show this lady some love and stop by Angry Egg! I know I will be coming back!

Angry Egg was pretty good! Went in today with friends for lunch and we were all satisfied with our food. Service was fast and the staff were friendly. The food came out and was piping hot, we had to let it cool before eating! Got the tender combo which came with three tenders, fries, slaw and sauces. The sauces (honey mustard and house sauce) were delicious and full of flavor and the fries were perfectly salty and crunchy. The chicken was really good, our only complaint was how the breading just fell off of it immediately. You can't dip the tenders in sauce, you need to cut them up and dip it in with a fork if you want to have both the chicken and breading. Otherwise it was a nice place and we may stop back if in the area!
